The ship caught in a maelstrom is a euphemism for life. Sometimes we found ourselves in great storms and need to find our way home. If you look closely, the ship has a mermaid mast head. The scene is engraved into naturally shed moose antler. The cap features the navigational constellations in Paua abalone inlaid in Gabon Ebony. The North star is the only star in white mother of pearl and it lines up with the mass of the ship guiding her home.

The section is made of ebonite, and It will come with a Jowo #6, stainless steel nib in the point size of your choice. It will also come outfitted with an international converter cartridge. Should you select the rollerball option, a Schmidt 888 refill will be included.
